Bryan holds a USSF D National Coaching License and has been coaching soccer for many years. He was an assistant coach under former USMNT and Olympic forward, Yari Allnutt at Nomads Soccer Club (San Diego). He has coached recreational and competitive soccer as well as futsal in La Grande for several years with a focus on improving the technical skills and player’s understanding of the game. He is excited to see current and former players improve and excel at higher levels in both high school and at the club level.
Bryan has an extensive knowledge of the game of soccer as both a player and a coach. As a club and ODP (Olympic Development Program) player in Illinois, Bryan had the opportunity to travel and play in England, Germany, and the Netherlands at an early age with Tim Carter, current Development Academy Director the the Minnesota Loons (MLS). Bryan continued playing collegiate soccer at Division III, Luther College and was a captain for three of his four seasons. Bryan also played for the USISL team, Sioux City Breeze, where he played against players such as Brian McBride (USMNT, Fulham FC, Everton FC, Columbus Crew) and Tony Sanneh (USMNT, Hertha BSC, FC Nurnberg).

Jessy holds a National Diploma (2006), Advanced National Diploma (2006), Premier Diploma (2008), Futsal level One Special Topics diploma (2016), and a Technical Development of the Competitive Player Special Topics diploma (2017), all from the NSCAA.
Jessy began coaching in 1988 as a youth coach in La Grande then went on to be the La Grande High School boys coach for 12 years collectively beginning in 1998, including 8 years as head coach; Head Coach for the Eastern Oregon University Women’s program 2007-2009 (NAIA). Assistant Men’s Coach Eastern Oregon University Men’s Soccer 2015-present. Served in the Marines from 1990-1994 and during that time played for the All-Marine soccer team and coached a unit team to an Okinawan Island wude championship. Played in SoCal Premier league in 1995. Served on the Board for Union County Youth Soccer Association twice in the past 15 years. La Grande native born here in 1971.

Shannon holds a USSF C National Coaching License, NSC Small Sided Games Diploma, NSC Level 1 Futsal Diploma, and Grade 8 Referee Certification. She completed the TOVO Institute V1 Coaching Methodology Course in May, 2019.
Shannon played Division I soccer at Gonzaga University and began coaching youth soccer her senior year of college in Spokane, WA. Upon graduating from Gonzaga in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, she moved to Portland, OR where she coached competitive U11 - U15 girls teams for Lake Oswego Soccer Club and JV Girls at Lakeridge High School. She worked at Lake Oswego Physical Therapy and Legacy Emanuel Pediatric Rehab Hospital before becoming a licensed massage therapist in 1997, specializing in sports massage therapy.
Shannon moved to La Grande in 2011 with her husband and three children. She worked as Director of Religious Education and Youth Ministry at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church and was Administrative Director of the Marian Academy Catholic School until 2015. She earned a graduate certificate in Catholic School Leadership from Creighton University in 2017.
Raising three children with special needs (deaf and hard of hearing), Shannon has extensive local and national non-profit volunteer experience involving parent and student advocacy in her roles as National Cued Speech Association (NCSA) West Regional Co-Director, President of Idaho Hands & Voices, Hands & Voices of Oregon Parent Guide, and Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) parent representative.
With a combined 30+ years of soccer playing and youth coaching experience and a passion for youth development, Shannon joined with Bryan Endress, Jordan Hillmick, Stan Rodrigues and Jessy Watson in 2017 to establish GRVFC. Her area of focus as a GRVFC coach is with the U5 - U8 age groups, emphasizing physical literacy to develop a foundation of movement skills benefiting all children as they grow.
A highlight for Shannon as a player, coach, and parent was watching her oldest daughter, Audrey (15), participate in the United States Deaf Soccer Women's National Team 2019 camp in Salt Lake City, UT.
Shannon is especially excited to help bring TOPSoccer playing opportunities to players with physical, developmental, and other unique needs in eastern Oregon.
